E-Yantra lab by IIT Mumbai inaugurated at MMEC on 16th Feb.2024. Professor Kavi Arya, D.Phil.(Oxon.), of IIT Bombay’s CSE Department and Principal Investigator of e-Yantra, highlighted eLSI’s role in promoting “Project Based Learning” via e-Yantra Labs in colleges. With 425+ colleges in India & Bhutan, including 39 in Karnataka, eLSI focuses on training in embedded systems and robotics. It offers MOOC-based training, competitions like eYRC & eYIC, and access to resources like the eYRDC portal. Benefits include free robotics kits, course discounts, access to eFSI for IoT projects, technical talks, and yearly MOOC subscriptions with hardware kits. Professor Arya underscored the importance of identifying real-world problems and implementing project-based learning.
