Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India, established to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, startup culture, and intellectual property development in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). It encourages students and faculty to convert ideas into prototypes, products, patents, and startups.
Objectives of IIC
- Create a vibrant innovation and startup ecosystem within the college.
- Encourage ideation, design thinking, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship.
- Support pre-incubation and incubation activities.
- Promote patent filing, technology transfer, and startup formation.
- Prepare institutions for innovation rankings.
