At Maratha Mandal’s Engineering College (MMEC), the Training & Placement Cell is deeply committed to transforming student potential into professional excellence. Operating throughout the year under the guidance of a full-time Placement Officer and seasoned faculty, our team works tirelessly to bridge academic learning with industry expectations. We provide comprehensive placement preparation, including soft-skills training, technical aptitude workshops, interview readiness sessions, and personality development programs, ensuring that students are well-prepared to succeed in competitive recruitment environments.
Our Placement Cell actively collaborates with leading national and global organizations to bring a diverse array of job opportunities to campus. We coordinate on-site recruitment drives, collaborate with industry HR teams, and host guest lectures by corporate leaders to expose our students to real-world career pathways. This proactive industry engagement enables us to offer internships and full-time placements across many sectors, tailoring opportunities to student strengths and career goals.
MMEC has demonstrated consistent placement performance, with recent reports showing an average package in the range of ₹3–4 LPA and top offers between ₹5–8 LPA. Among our major recruiters are reputed companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Persistent Systems, and HCL, among others Through these partnerships, students secure roles in software, manufacturing, consulting, and other high-growth domains.
To support sustained employability, our Placement Cell also conducts in-house training year-round. These include resume-building workshops, mock interviews, group discussion practice, and employer-specific test preparation. Such structured support helps students build confidence, sharpen their problem-solving skills, and present themselves strongly to recruiters.
Recognizing the importance of individual attention, we also focus on personalized career guidance. Students receive mentorship on career planning, upskilling, and leveraging their strengths. Placement Cell Activities & Training
The Maratha Mandal’s Engineering College Training & Placement Cell runs year-round to ensure students are fully prepared for the recruitment process. We conduct comprehensive training that includes mock interviews, group discussions, quantitative and technical aptitude tests, programming language training, resume-building sessions, personality development workshops, interpersonal and communication skills coaching, and strategic career planning. In addition, our placement team tailors training programs based on employer-specific needs, aligning students’ readiness with real recruitment scenarios.
